Cheviot Asset Management
Food, energy and water can no longer be taken for granted in any part of the world. The credit crunch has revealed a new world economic order and there is increasing scientific agreement on climate change, which will dramatically impact the way we live. These elements are coming together at the same time. In short, we are entering an age when the management and valuation of resources and efficient process is of critical importance and this in turn impacts the evaluation of investment opportunities. The macro drivers on a global scale include resource scarcity, food supply, energy security and supply, population growth, infrastructure renewal, pollution and political and regulatory initiatives relating to CO2. Cheviot Sustainable Investment has a dedicated team with wide experience and is focused on identifying investment opportunities globally in companies or asset classes which are expected to benefit in this new global environment.
