Fund summary
The fund's aim is to be invested in the winners of the energy transition. The fund is focused on investing in companies that have a strong market position in their respective industries, to be able to yield pricing power and to deliver profitable growth. We continue to focus on companies that have favourable cash flows relative to their market-implied valuations. The fund’s investment universe spans the globe with approximately 80% in North America and Europe, and 20% in the rest of the world. These are energy-related companies that contribute to/benefit from the world’s transition to less carbon-intensive energy and are active in the fields of: resources, technology & equipment, infrastructure and energy efficiency. Management
Luciano Diana - Fund Manager
Luciano joined Pictet Asset Management in 2009. He is a Senior Investment Manager in the Sector & Theme funds team. Before joining Pictet, Luciano spent 4 years at Morgan Stanley, where he headed the London based clean energy sell-side research team. Luciano holds a Laurea in Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy, and an MBA from INSEAD
Xavier Chollet - Fund Manager
Xavier joined Pictet Asset Management in 2011 as a Senior Investment Manager in the Sector & Theme Funds team. Previously, he was with Pictet’s Wealth Management division since 1998 as an analyst covering technology as well as clean energy starting in 2007. He also managed two internal portfolios on solar energy and energy efficiency. Xavier holds a Master’s degree in Finance from HEC Lausanne.
